A special event on the history of information theory announced

As appropriate to the historical location of ITW2015, the workshop will host a special panel discussion on the history of information theory.

The event is organized by Tony Ephremides, with confirmed contributors: David Forney, Robert Gallager, Sergio Verdú, Andrew Viterbi and Jacob Ziv.

“Jerusalem Explained” video added

ITW 2015 Jerusalem approved by ITSoc BoG!

ITW 2015 in Jerusalem is now (unanimously!) approved by the Board of Governors of the IEEE Information Theory Society.

Looking forward to seeing you in Jerusalem, April 26-May 1, 2015.
